Justification of the Course:

This Trainer of Trainers and Evaluator course in the use of Simulators, in accordance with Rules I/6 and I/12, of the STCW '78 Convention as amended and its Training Code, is intended for the training of instructors, in the use and methodologies of evaluation with the use of simulators, which provide them with the competencies required for the training of seafarers.

COURSE CONTENT:

• Simulation and importance of simulation training in the maritime industry.
• The Simulator Instructor.
• Basic Simulator Design and Types of Simulators.
• Training in the scope simulator.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarization with the Simulator.
• Creating exercises in the Simulator.
• Conceptualization of a training program in the simulator.

CERTIFICATION:

An Authorized certificate will be granted by the Maritime Authority of Panama (AMP).
