Justification of the Course:

This course includes the necessary training for those persons who have not been designated as port facilities security officers, persons designated to act on behalf of the port facilities security officer, or who are not required to comply with the provisions of SOLAS Chapter XI-2 and the ISPS Code, since they have not been assigned specific protection functions.

• Management of information and sensitive communications on Maritime Security.
• Protection Responsibilities.
• Port Protection Actions.
• Contingency Plans.
• Basic knowledge of procedures for protection-related communications.

DURATION OF THE COURSE:

4 hours (1 day).

CERTIFICATION:

An Authorized certificate will be granted by the Maritime Authority of Panama (AMP).
