Justification of the Course:

All deck officers must have the necessary knowledge to carry out safe navigation, making use of the human and technological resources available on board. Knowing what to do, when to do it and doing it well, allows us to provide greater safety in teamwork on the bridge; thus avoiding complications and minimizing risks in navigation. That is why the structure of the course has been developed, seeking that the participant is competent and has the due aptitude to develop the skills, abilities and perform within their tasks and functions on board.

COURSE CONTENT:

• Maintain a Safe Navigation Guard.
• The Distribution, Allocation, and Priority Classification of Resources.
• Basic Principles of Resource Management Bridge.
• Effective communication.
• Clear and concise communications and reconnaissance in the right manner in the maritime environment Determination and Leadership.
• The Analysis of the Team Experience.
• Security status on board.

CERTIFICATION:

An Authorized certificate will be granted by the Maritime Authority of Panama (AMP).
