PASSENGER SAFETY, CARGO SAFETY AND HULL INTEGRITY TRAINING IMO COURSES
Justification of the Course:
This course covers and seeks to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for the management of the safe opening of the hull and the control of the atmosphere on RO-RO passenger ships, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation V/2, Section A-V/2 paragraph 5 of the amended STCW '78 Convention and its Training Code.
COURSE CONTENT:
- Loading and loading procedure.
- Design and operational limitation of passenger ships of ro-ro (RO-RO).
- Ability to correctly apply the procedures established for the ship.
- Transport of dangerous goods.
- Load securing Opening, closing and fastening of the hull openings.
- Atmosphere on ro-ro (RO-RO) decks.
- Correctly apply the procedures established in the vessel for the ventilation of ro-ro cargo spaces during vehicle loading and unloading operations, as well as during the voyage and in emergency situations.
DURATION OF THE COURSE:
17.5 hours (3 days).
CERTIFICATION:
An Authorized certificate will be granted by the Maritime Authority of Panama (AMP).
