PASSENGER SHIP CRISIS MANAGEMENT AND HUMAN BEHAVIOUR TRAINING (IMO 1.42) IMO COURSES
Justification of the Course:
The Emergency Management and Human Behavior on Passenger Ships Training course is designed to provide course participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for the management of a crisis or emergency on board a passenger ship, in accordance with Regulation V/2, Section A-V/2, paragraph 4 and Table A-V/2-2 of the amended STCW '78 Convention and its Training Code.
COURSE CONTENT:
- Introduction to the course.
- Past and recent accidents or disasters aboard passenger ships.
- Organize emergency procedures on board.
- Optimize resource utilization.
- Lead the intervention in case of emergency.
- Direct passengers and other staff members in emergency situations.
- Establish and maintain effective communications.
CERTIFICATION:
An Authorized certificate will be granted by the Maritime Authority of Panama (AMP).
DURATION OF THE COURSE:
18 hours (3 days).
