Justification of the Course:
The objectives of the maritime safety course are to promote and communicate a culture of maritime safety and a clearer perception of the importance of the marine environment through human-based principles. To provide the necessary material to train seafarers in order to broaden their knowledge and give them a clearer idea of the importance of the human factor for the safety of the ship, so that they can act properly.

- Lowering of boats with breaking of the stern ground.
- Boat manoeuvring.
- Lifeboat equipment.
- Abandonment of ship.
- Life rafts.
- Construction of the life raft.
- Launch of the life rafts.
- Equipment for life rafts.
- Hoops and life jackets.
- Emergency.
- Causes of fire and its prevention.
- Environmental protection.
