Justification of the Course:

The maritime sector presents multiple risks due to extreme offshore conditions, the operation of heavy machinery, and the handling of hazardous substances. Accidents in this environment can have fatal consequences, affect productivity and generate severe environmental impacts. This course is critical to training workers in safe work procedures. Through this training, the aim is to reduce incidents, improve emergency response and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

  • Identification of risks in the sector.
  • General preventive measures.
  • Preventive measures in the use of stairs
  • Measurements during shipments
  • Measurements during shipments between ships.
  • Preventive measures in work on board.
  • Personal protective equipment for safe work.
  • Maintenance and revisions of boats, machinery, etc.
  • Review of electronic and ventilation systems
  • Control of the condition of lifeguards and auxiliary boats.

    DURATION OF THE COURSE:

  • 8 hours (1 day).

  • A certificate will be awarded at the end of the course.
